This week we have been assisting William and Bertha Garrett stay in their home — protesters stopped delivery of a dumpster and marched on the bank’s office in downtown Detroit Monday & Tuesday. Bank of New York Mellon has promised to sign a new mortgage with them that keeps them in their home.
